Vermont's confusing lodging restrictions

Confusion and frustration is being expressed over Vermont's new lodging restrictions. The issue trigged a town hall meeting recently where the state tried to explain how the restrictions are supposed to work. Nearly 200 people signed in to an Agency of Commerce and Community Development meeting which was held on line. See the video here: https://youtu.be/RtLkWtniZVI

We just reserved a room at The Barnstead In in Manchester for October 9-11. Innkeeper did not raise any concerns as of two weeks ago.

Neither the innkeeper or anyone else can say what the situation might be several months from now. As of now, things are looking in good in VT but not in other areas of the country, so the the situation could change. Vermont inn keepers are having a really tough time and the state is trying to balance the need for money with the need to keep the virus at bay.
