We would love to sit outside and enjoy lunch with great views. Do you have a favorite picnic spot or a fun place with outdoor seating?

Hi "Mom",
There are picnic tables at the Pageant Park area of Crystal Lake in Barton. Take Pageant Park Road off Rte 16E (Lake Willoughby Rd) and it is down on the right hand side. Don't go to the main Crystal Lake State Park entrance, as it is gated in the Fall and closed for the season. You can see a few picnic tables at Pageant Park in thei photo:

Noyes Pond at Seyon State Park in Groton has adirondack chairs with incredible views where you can sit and picnic:

Take the gondola to the top of Killington Mountain. There are chairs outdoors where you can bring your own food and picnic with incredible views, or you can eat inside at a great restaurant up there:

There's also a wonderful covered picnic area located at Osmore Pond in Groton State Park

Hope this helps.
