Kanc - 10/9

Hit the Kanc today on the way up from Boston to Stowe. Will do Stowe and surrounding area the next two days. It was our first time and it was awesome! So much to see and do. To my untrained Florida eyes I would say near peak in Conway, a tad past peak in some spots at the top (especially on the higher slopes above the pass), and peak in between. The overlook just west of the pass was absolutely spectacular. One thing we learned today is it's best to travel with the sun at your back. Heading west in the am on this route and east in the afternoon.
