Killington today

We spent half a day in he Killington area today. Overall it was really good. In Killington peak was probably 2-3 days ago but colors were still nice. Lots of oranges and still some reds.
But the highlight of the day was the Lefferts pond: it was at peak, brilliant reds and oranges everywhere, not a single green tree.
Also the Chittended reservoir had good colors but not as good.
I hope I will be able to post some pictures once I get back to Philly.
On the other hand, in Woodstock and surroundings foliage is not good. Little to no color .
Overall in the Valleys of South Vermont the foliage hasn't show up and the local people think it won't show up at all!
