Wife and I are finally ready for our first trip in Vermont, that was originally scheduled for the past weekend, but we had to postpone to this coming weekend.
We will be in VT October 15-October 18, and we will be based in Grafton.

A couple of questions for you guys:

1) Green Mountains: is it going to be to late for foliage there?

2) Based on what I am reading in your excellent and very details reports, it sounds like the peacham are should look wonderful by then. Any specific suggestion?

3) What about the Killington-Rochester-Hancock area?

Thank you so much for all the help!!

This has been a weird foliage season so it's hard to predict how the foliage will be. The foliage should still be good in Peacham early in your vacation so do that first. After that I would wander around from Killington and south of there. Woodstock should be okay also. The key to the foliage in the next few days will be the wind. If the winds stay light the leaves will hang on.
