Hi,
We just moved from Chicago to New York. I have always loved the autumn in New England. We would like to drive up to Vermont (or somewhere in New England) where we can enjoy some beautiful fall scenery.
The complicating factor is that we have a 5-month-old baby, and I don't think she will enjoy sitting in a car seat for 3 days. That means we should probably stay in one area for these 3 days/2 nights.
Does someone know what I should do? Which area has beautiful fall color, fun things/sites, good restaurants and lodging that don't require too much driving (preferrably under 30 minutes one way)?
Any suggestions for things to do, sites to visit, B&B/hotels, and restaurants are welcome. Any hotel or B&B with a microwave available?
Thanks.

I agree with BM. You mentioned B&Bs and hotels, but a condo may be a better deal. And at this late date it might be the only thing availible. Lokk at the Killington or Okemo Ski Areas. Colors should be good from there and south.
