HEAT WAVE - Indian Summer Returns

Ok so it is back to flip flops for a couple of days! It was 83 here today and tomorrow may be 85! Windows back open and feels like August! But no humidity so it is really awesome out there! I guess this is our Indian Summer with a nice cool down for the weekend with beautiful autumnal weather.

I had pulled my storm windows down and wrapped/removed the ACs before my VT vacation and now I had to reverse a few! Everyone loves it however because we know what is coming in a couple of months and I won't say the "S" word here.

Unfortunately, it was quite breezy today and although our canopies are still healthy and strong and just turning, I noticed a lot of dried up leaves floating about. We are in a nasty drought down here but the turning trees are bright red, orange and burgundy nonetheless.

Hope you are all enjoying the balmy weather!

S N O W in the mountains of Vermont! We are also getting some wet flakes here in the NW hills of CT. I hope From the NEK gets some more snowliage shots! I read on wcax that there may be accumulating snow in the mountains. The passing of the seasons....
