That's a terrific set of images, Carol. Outstanding variety mixed with thoughtful compositions makes for a winning collection.

Very nice pictures from NEK! Are you done up in Vermont or still taking more pictures?

I did, thanks. I left NH on Monday morning, stayed overnight in western NY that night and returned to Indianapolis early Tuesday evening. It took me a day to recover, but I was pretty much back to normal by Thursday. I'll be back in the Chicago area on Monday.

Carol, beautiful as always, you inspire me! Looking forward to looking at these again when I get home on something larger than my phone!

Carol,

WOW Your photos are truly spectacular. It was the best foliage showing I've ever seen. 2012 was lovely but this year the reds and oranges just popped. I want to move to Vermont today! Luckily, visitors who came at any time during this fabulous season certainly were not disappointed.

Hi Mark. Sadly, I'm probably not returning to VT until the Spring. My husband is having surgery on Tuesday so we winterized the house last weekend. He will be out of commission for wuite a while. Tomorrow I'm taking a day trip to NH with a few photography friends. I hope you are enjoying this foliage season.
Carol
I'm glad you got to enjoy Vermont's colors this season. Best of luck for your husband's operation. Maybe we will meet in person some day?

abby wrote:Thank you Mark. Yes, would be nice to meet someday. The colors down here in SE MA are really starting to pop. I hope you have an opportunity to get out shooting over the next week or two. If so, I can live vicariously through your photos, as I doubt I'll have any time to get out shooting before the leaves all fall. Yesterday was a wonderful day up in the Kanc in NH. Although past peak, which I knew it would be, it was still a fantastic day and a great day to end my Fall photography season. Pictures here if interested:

Great shots. I really like the frosted foliage leaves. I don't get that opportunity often enough to capture it. Someday....
