bv: I am a bit concerned about your comment that it is your last fall in VT so I am going to email you and call you later. We were just hiking together in CT last year and I know that you own that awesome cabin in Chester that we had coffee together while out on sugaring season the winter before our hike. This can't be your last fall.

Well, I stirred up more drama than I intended with my post. The long and short of it is since all our kids have moved to AZ, we are moving there to be near them. We will therefore be tourists in Vermont from now on. It is only emotional since I have been a new England we for all my life and where I am going there aren't even trees. Such is life.

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. It was thrilling to see the foliage from the air and capture it with our "flying camera". I'm very happy with how the video turned out.

bvahjen, Arizona couldn't be more different from New England, but it still has its charm and beauty! It's very close to some of the country's most incredible desert landscapes and national parks and monuments (in addition to the Grand Canyon check out Zion, Arches, Canyonlands, Bryce, and Monument Valley and Canyon de Chelly!). And just think, you won't have to shovel a driveway again. Good luck with your new adventure!

bv: glad you clarified your "situation". You had me quite worried! When you come cross country we'll get together, maybe at Candlewood Lake? Enjoy your time in AZ. You have a lot to look forward to as Della mentioned. I'll miss you both and will remember our autumn hike to the summit of Lake Waramug, our visit during sugaring season to your cabin and the meetups at the Chester Fall Foliage Festival in past years.

Della: have shared your footage with so many people who were in awe of the aerial views of peak. Thanks again! :D
