Willston-Hinesburg-Monkton-Bristol 10/11/16

Took a drive from Williston to Bristol today.
Out of Williston I took 2A south to 116 south. Color is starting to come out real nice and is headed toward peak...maybe 50% there? I would guess that over the next week or so should be great. In Hinesburg I took Silver Street south to Monkton Ridge. Again..color along this road is coming along nice. Nice easterly views from Monkton Ridge to the Green Mountains. Color is looking fantastic (from a distance) on the mountains. Gorgeous.
From Monkton Ridge took the Bristol-Monkton Road south to Bristol. The road sits at the bottom of a mile-wide long valley (or so). Color along the western slopes the hills to the east (called Hogback) are still really green suprisingly. The hillsides on the eastern side of the valley (Boro Hill) looks really good.
My guess for this area is that we will reach peak in the next 5-7 days or so.
