Ricker Pond/Noyes (Seyon) Pond - GROTON

Postby mmvt » Sun Oct 02, 2016 10:17 pm

The skies remain overcast and flat but I wanted to check out the color in the Groton Forest area. Stopped briefly on Turkey Hill Road so we didn't get to Groton until 5 pm - route 302 was very nice with some areas of Peak Color.
Ricker Pond and Noyes Pond are both absolutely beautiful even with grey, dark skies.

TURKEY HILL ROAD - Northfield - this barn/house land are for sale - 280K

NOYES POND - Just as we arrived, the sun made a brief appearance along with some fog!

mmvt, great shots! Going big time and hiring a canoeist to appear in your photos, nice!

HAHAHA Deaner..... the canoe/kayak shot was pure luck. As I arrived to the location I saw him and rushed to capture him in that location! Was glad that it came out even if the kayak is not in perfect focus :-)

I'm hitting all these spots Thursday! Possibly hiking Owls Head as well. Can't wait! :D

Ironic, MM: The year I got to Turkey Hill it was past peak. :-)

Gorgeous shots.

Kind of minimalist with your budget cuts on actors but, still great!

I did the hike to Owl's Head yesterday. The view and colors were amazing.
