We are arriving in Boston 10/06 spend the night in Wilmington. Then four nights in Stowe. Lots of good info on this site. Love to drive scenic routes and take pictures. Sounds like we should get lucky with timing. Have read many good suggestions for driving on website already, will consult foliage map when we arrive. If you have any ideas for the timeframe we are there, please post thoughts. We enjoy long drives. Thx David and Stacy

Yes...you should see some good color! Valleys should be good...upper elevations may or may not be gone by. Its all going to depend on the weather!
From Wilmington to Stowe take Route 100 the whole way. My favorite part of Route 100 is between Stockbridge and Granville. Its gorgeous!
Let us know if you have any specific interests or places you really want to see and we can give suggestions.
