Those who know me, know I LOVE full moons. Especially the full harvest moon! Let's hope the weather is clear on the night of the full harvest moon this year which is, for anyone interested:

September 16th Full Harvest Moon

I love it when the harvest moon occurs when I am in Vermont. It is a special treat to be at my inn and see the harvest moon rise over the mountains, stirs the soul!

Oh foliage and weather Gods, (And Mother Nature) please give us a spectacular foliage season in Vermont (and everywhere else for that matter) with clear, blue skies and cool nights and warm, sunny days!

I will be enjoying the moon from about the closest to a polar opposite as I can imagine. I will be viewing its rise from atop Rockefeller Center as I shoot photos of the Manhattan skyline.

Hi all: Don't forget the full harvest moon is tomorrow the 16th! Have fun Dean! Looking forward to your photos! It looks to be a clear night in the northeast and the full harvest moon is our pre autumn "fix" direct from Mother Nature herself. I always go outside (if the weather cooperates) and relish the full harvest moon! Autumn is on its way! The equinox is soon to come!

The moon last night was AMAZING! We watched it from a road atop our mountain here with Neil Young's Harvest Moon playing in the background. SWEET! The eclipse is tonight and the moon should once again be beautiful here in the northeast. Enjoy!
