Thank you..nervously watching the weather.will the weekend storm affect the leaves? or heavy rain tomorrow..have to make a decision about flying on Friday. This report gives me confidence to travel.

I arrived in Waitsfield tonight. I flew into Hartford and drove to Waitsfield. The color kept getting better as I drove north. There were pockets of exceptional color along Interstate 89. While there was some color on the mountains, it is still pretty dull and it will be at least a week before it peaks.

Tomorrow CT and I will do some scouting for color from Waitsfield to Warren to Middlebury.
