Vermont Trip Oct. 15-18

I am planning a trip to Vermont the weekend of Oct. 15-18 and would like to see some colorful foliage. Is this going to be too late? I'm flying, so I will probably fly into Albany and head for southern Vermont. Any suggestions about where to go at this time? Thanks for your help.

Every year is different, but I would think you will be okay for some color in the SW and SE areas of Vermont. The whole area from Bennington to Manchester should be nice then.. if not, the Brattleboro area is usually a bit later.

If the season is late, consider going south from Albany rather than east. Should still be good color in southern NYS, western MA and CT. --c
