Foliage update

Had to go to "Mont-peculiar" to do errands and do lunch at the Wayside Restaurant. After that we went to Bragg Farm for a maple creamee.
We took rt 100 through Stowe and there wasn't much in the way of color change there. Just a hint of color in the higher elevations. We took route 14 to Hardwick. Color change was more visible here. Very early stage of change. Route 15 from Hardwick to Morrisville was more advanced than from Johnson to Cambridge. It looks to me that the Northeast Kingdom to go next week.

Great news, Phil! Anxiously awaiting any and all reports from those there. Clocks ticking, a week from Sat. for me! :D

Same here. Arriving from Texas on Oct. 3 and leaving VT on Oct. 7. From the sound of things, I'll be spending a lot of time in the northern third of the state just to catch some peak or near-peak foliage.
