While cleaning my bathrooms this morning (not my favorite thing) the tune from Sound of Music kept running thru my head, so I began to put words to it, this is what I came up with.

My Favorite Things

Deep orange pumpkins and hot apple cider
Crisp morning walks and at night by the fire
Hot summer days that give way to fall
This is my favorite Season of all

Crimson red maples and donuts and creemees
Breath taking colors and lakes that are dreamy
Whether you call it Autumn or Fall
This is my favorite Season of all

Corn stalks and hay stacks and sweet pumpkin pie
Nothing's as blue as an October sky
White steepled churches, earth's bounty for all
This is my favorite Season of all!

Sun kissed leaves in autumn's light

With aromas of fall through my window at night
