Need advice. Should I go north or south?

Need advice. Should I go north or south?

Hi everyone,

It's finally Friday. I am going to drive from Boston towards west tomorrow. I will drive on scenic Route 2 and get to Williamstown. From there, should I go north or south? From I heard so far, North in Vermont is past peak and south is just turning.. I have been torn for a few days. Any advice? Thanks

Thanks folks.

I went to Williamstown and went up north on route 7 and stayed in green mountain area. While it is still beautiful, it is definitely past peak. All the red is gone and mostly brown and yellow.

Next year I will keep an eye on this forum and try NEK area first.
