I'm off to VT Day Trip #2!

Hi all: Cannot stay away so revised the weekend schedule! I'm just going to check out some areas in SW VT and here's where I am going so will post later. I'll be in North Bennington (taking ixl's advice heading up on 22 NY) checking out Carpenter Hill Road and Monument Road and then taking the drive up to Mt. Equinox! So excited! I have to get this off my checklist as my weekends are booked now till November.

Then we are driving back on 7A to take the Kelly Stand Road. I want to see this reconstruction so bad since Irene hit and we are having lunch at Grout Pond. Then we'll head back home through Dover back roads - will make for a very long day but I'll take what I can get. It is outstanding here weather-wise. We're stopping at the Apple Barn after Carpenter Hill drive so I can feed my shopping fix! Gotta go! Enjoy all the trips today and I'll give you an update on the color which is probably just starting on the roads I am traveling.

Hi Phil! Going up was harder than coming down this year! Go figure! But I survived! I will post my day trip and it was a day made in heaven!
