Vermont Vacation Oct 2 to 5

Dear all,

I will travel to vermont for a foliage vacation from Oct 2 to 5. I will stay at Bennington, Rutland and Burlington one night each and plan to drive along route 7 and route 100. Thanks to the information I found on this forum, here is a list of places I may stop by:
1. Mt Equinox, Lake Madeleine, and Equinox Pond.
2. Woodstock, Marsh-Billings Rockefeller NHP, and Quechee Gorge.
3. Stowe, Smugglers' Notch, and Isles on Lake Champlain.
Please provide any advice to help me plan my trip in more detail, especially where I can have astonishing foliage view.
