WEB CAMS for FOLIAGE

WEB CAMS are getting better, and can be a useful tool for out of staters to check on the color--Vermont.com has some decent web cams as does Jeff Foliage--The best web cam I have seen is at Lopstick Cabins(Where we'll be staying for 2 nights Sept 23rd) in Pittsburg, New Hampshire--These cabins are right on First Connecticut Lake in extreme North New Hampshire--They get the Fall colors first, and one can already see some color starting--Please check out their webcam by scrolling down on their home page

A side note for any of the local gardners out there, can anyone tell me what kind of Hydrangea bush that is, I love how they turn that lovely dusty pink in the fall. Don' t know if I can grow one here, but I'd sure like to try.

And here's another one....Stannard Mountain was outstanding but you might want to give Flag Pond Road a pass...There are parts of the Kingdom that are close to peak because of the recent frosts.

ok now Tim, I'm almost in tears! Between you and Mr. NEK with the video and photos, I'm in a state of melancholy!!!   I'll be missing one of Vermont's best foliage seasons ever. Seriously though, this has to be one of your nicest videos so far and you did an amazing job. Perfect music to showcase Willoughby! See you next year Tim, 2015. At least I am getting up there on weekend days, I'm salvaging my sanity.
