Headed up Tomorrow

Heading up tomorrow from Hartford. Would like to drive about as far North as I need to see good color but no further since it's a long drive up. Any ideas of good places to check out. I will probably leave very, very early, stay all day and evening, take a snooze in my car or a campground, and head back the next morning (saving up for some big expenses).

First thing to do is keep an eye on the weather. If it is raining or very overcast, don't bother. If there's sun, then head up as far as the intersection of 89 and I-91 and then head west through Woodstock and down towards Manchester then back around to Brattleboro. Color is hanging on and there has been no major leaf drop

I was down in the Killington area and the colors were great. The Woodstock area should be just as good.

I decided against coming all the way up but I did hit NW Mas. Color was much better this time than when I went last year (waited too late).
