Starting today the northbound on ramp at exit 8 in Montpelier will be closed. They are removing some crumbling ledges. This will take a month.
This means that if you are in Montpelier City and you want to go to Stowe or Burlington, you will not be able to use interstate I-89 to do it. Use route US 2 west to Middlesex, VT and pick up the interstate I-89 there.
If you are in Montpelier and you were planning to take route 100 south to Waitsfield or Killington, take route US 2 west to Middlesex and then take route 100B south to route 100.
If you were planning to take I-89 south to Woodstock or I-91, you are okay. It's just the northbound on ramp that is closed.
