My husband and I are traveling from Burlington to Boston from October 7th to the 11th by car for our 25th wedding aniversary to enjoy the leaves. Any suggestions as to lodging, routes, side trips, and restaurants would be greately appreciated. Thank you in advance for your suggestions!

Finding rooms up here at that time will be difficult. Burlington will be a good place to try as well as Stowe and Waitsfield. I can't recommend a place because they may be full by the time you get up here. Foliage will be at peak in that area or a little south. Route 100 is the most recommended route. If you look at a Vt. map you will see 3 roads; 17, 125 and 73, that start from route 100 and head west. Great rides. Farther east I like route 12, 14 and 110. I really can't get to specific because I'm not sure where you will be staying.
