One of Stowe's hidden pleasures is the Stowe Recreation Path. This is an award winning 5.5 mile Recreation Path. The Stowe Recreation Path begins in Stowe nearby the white steeple church then parallels Mountain Road/Route 108 and ends at Brook Road off of Mountain Road/Route 108. A brief walk from the Brook Road Recreation Path Parking lot leads to a Covered Bridge. There are several access points along this 5.5 mile Recreation Path with Parking lots. It's up to individuals how they wish to utilize this wonderful Recreation Path. The Stowe Recreation Path is accessible to short or long walks, jogging, biking, rollerblading, strollers, walkers, etc.
GoStowe has provided a very nice map of the Stowe Recreation Path which may be located at:

When in Stowe, head "down this beaten path" for a few moments of pleasure and exercises.
