Seyon Pond/Seyon State Park

Postby abby » Tue Oct 02, 2012 5:12 pm

Was here this morning just as the fog lifted. (Think this is located in Groton)The reflections were perfect. There was virtually no wind and I was lucky to be there for the hour or two of sunshine we got this morning.

It was a spectacular morning. I told Mr S to "go take a hike" and so he did!! All the way around the pond. It was perfect for me. I didn't feel rushed as he was gone for about 45 minutes. I was the only one there. It was a very special time. Almost spiritual!

I'm very jealous of not being able to come to VT this year. Take some extra shots for me, abby. That last photo is incredible.

Wow, great pics!
50 shades of foliage indeed! That should be the callout for people on this forum. When you see another leaf peeper or photographer, say something to them about "50 Shades of Foliage" and if they know what your talking about you know they read this forum :D

These are fantastic photos in every respect. These are the kinds of pictures I come to Vermont in foliage season to capture but I get may be one or two of these every year  The incredibly talented photogs on this forum just make me feel I should shelve my camera and just enjoy the foliage, walking around with my hands in my pockets. And look at the forum for these pics during the rest of the year.

The color around Martins Pond is about the same. Save some room on your memory card.

Great photos!

My admiration and bitterness are now competing for supremacy.
