Weekend of Oct. 2

Hello,

I am getting married in Dorset the weekend of October 2nd, and am really hoping for nice color, as most of our guests are from out of town, and have never seen VT foliage before. Last year on that date, there was very little color, and it seemed a bit strange. I seem to recall there at least being moderate color at that same time in other years. Was last year unusual, and are indicators pointing to an early turn this year?

Oct. 2nd is a little early for Dorset. We've had a very wet summer this year so you may get some early color in wetter areas. We are already seeing early color up north in wet areas.
