Got home a couple of hours ago from a drive through NH. Overall I would say colors are just pre-peak. Should get to peak by the weekend with the upcoming frost. Had some really great light and, for the one hour of rain, I managed to stay very happy at Polly's Pancake Parlor (first time there and it was damn good). Here are some quickly processed pix:

Don't forget to go through Bretton Woods and to the Mt. Washington Inn and Resort. Gorgeous there. Also on the way, Orange Heights is also beautiful.......

The falls were impressive. The parking lots were full and there was some construction going on, so we didn't stop.

I shot both Silver Cascade and, new to me, Flume Cascade just up the road. Both were nice with good color surrounding them. Will hopefully process lots more tonight...

Excellent, excellent photos! Mt. Washington and Sugar Hill shots are my favorites! Wow! I stayed at the Mt. Washington Inn and Resort years ago and that place is EXTRAVAGANT! It is so beautiful and classy you wouldn't believe it. They have a golf and riding package to choose from if you stay, the views are incredible and the meals to die for. They also have a pool for summer which we loved. Not sure I could ever afford it again! It's worth a stop during foliage season just to capture this scene as you have so skillfully done.

Thanks again for posting.....
