SNOW!

mmvt: I've been reading about the snow in Vermont! Glad you made it out of the state safely. I'm not ready to hear the word "SNOW" yet. Seems all too soon, but before you know it the flakes will be flying and the shovels and snowblowers will be retrieved from the depths of the garage.
I hope folks who are in the snowy areas up in VT got some great foliage pictures if there are still leaves left after the wind and rain!

Speaking of surprising color, as of yesterday (before the big winds last night) the color in New Jersey was nicer than what I saw up in Vermont. It was a little early, but more bright reds and oranges than I ever remember around here (since I've been paying attention, at least). Of course, you're more likely to get a photo of a tree surrounded by condos than a tree next to a barn around here. What a strange year.

Fax: My bad -- should have known better. Spent many hours on both the Garden State and the Jersey Turnpike.
Really nice fall color in your image BTW -- and I can think of a "gesture" (appropos of our discussion on the photography board recently) that could be considered common in Jersey, for this photo
Seriously -- was my pleasure to meet and shoot with you recently.
