Afternoon tea in Hyde Park

There were guests yesterday for afternoon tea at The Governor's House in Hyde Park noticing that there hadn't yet been a frost to spoil the herbs in the garden and that the trees on the mountains you can see from the back portico are just starting to show a little color. Someone was remembering how spectacular the row of sugar maples that line the front lawn looked when they were here two years ago and there followed a lot of speculation about how colorful this fall will be.
