Which part of Vermont is best for colors, regardless of time?

Is any part of route 100 is going to be good this
weekend?

Have any suggestions for colors for specific parts in Northeast Kingdom this weekend?

Time means everything for foliage. Foliage season is like a wave, starting in the Northeast Kingdom first and ending in the southwestern part of the state. Just about any road up in the Kingdom will have good color. Route 100 from Stowe to Lowell is looking good right now. From lowell, route 58 to route 5A and route 5A from 58 south was coming along last weekend. I took route 114 from Lyndonville north to the Granby road and that looked pretty good. From then on I was on back roads so, I can't say how the rest of the main roads. By the way, for the more adventureous "peepers' the Granby Road starts on route 114 in Burke and goes east through Gallup Mills and Granby to route 102 in Guildhall. It's a long lonely dirt road. I'ts a very good dirt road and a straight shot to Guildhall, so you won't get lost. Bring a lunch, there's only one small store in Granby. This road has a lot on good color on it. Even to a native Vermonter like me, it's like going through a time warp. I'm going there tis weekend. Beam me up Scotty!!

Pwt54 how was your drive through Rt. 114, 102 and the dirt road this weekend? Had to be fantastic.
I tried to make the route via Rt. 111 to Rt. 114 but rain got the better of my time. Sunday I headed from Mass. on Hwy 91 North up to Orleans. From Orleans I took Rt. 5 south to Lydonville. At Lydonville I took Hwy 91 back to Mass. The rain, fog and mist really set the colors off. I got home an realized I shot almost 300 (283) photos. North Kingdom is great! Kinda like Gods Country. Wish Scotty could beam me up to the North Kingdom from Central Mass.

I didn't make it. My brother was having withdrawal symptoms, so I had to take him to Bragg Farms Maple place for a maple cremee and to Morse farm for maple kettle popcorn. Yummy. Route 14 from Hardwick was nice but route 12 from Momtpelier to Elmore was fantastic.
