I just got back from a 2 day trip to Vermont, and headed down route 100 to view Moss Glen Falls in Granville. Unfortunately, the parking is closed off with orange tape, and it looks like they're brought in a crane to hide the view. Anyone know what happened, or was this planned? If it was planned, they picked the worst time to close it, with thousands of leaf peepers hoping to catch a glimpse. That's about all they'll catch as they speed by.
I've got to say, in my many years of visits, the state's autumn color is looking good. More reds than I've seen for some time. The gods have blessed us all.
