Oct 4-6 Weekend Report

Went to Vermont during the weekend for leaf peeping.<P>Traveled on Route 100 all the way from near Brattleboro to the Newport/Derby area near the Canadian Border.<P>The colors were very pretty near Mount Snow and along the Stowe / Smugglers Notch area and north of that. Should peak by the coming weekend in all other areas<P>All other areas were average. <BR>Took a small detour to visit Burlington.<P>The Northeast Kingdom had peaked. The drive <BR>from NewPort to St Johnsbury along I-91 is <BR>spectacular.<P>I then drove into New Hampshire. The<BR>White Mountains of New Hampshire were soaked with color . It was beautiful .<P>Route 302 is awesome along Crawford Notch.<P><BR>Also the Kanmacgus Highway was showing brilliant colors. <P><BR>
