Which covered bridges would you recommend to visit during the foliage season? There are so many I don't even know where to start!
It depends on where you are staying in Vermont. If you are near Montpelier visit the state's Welcome Center at 134 State Street just west of the capitol. They have some "homemade" maps for the Waitsfield - Northfield-Randolph, and Tunbridge area as well as the Stowe to Montgomery Route. If not then I would buy a Delorme or Jimmapco Vermont atlas. The have the covered bridges and the roads they are on.
[This message has been edited by pbpub (edited 09-05-2002).]
