Re: A little Flatlander in VT Humor for You – CT and Man Driver – Car vs. Class Four Road Today!

   , been there, done that! One of my favorite Vermont memories was the time we took a dirt road that turned rather ugly, then saw a small sign that said it was an ATV trail! We had to back down to were we could turn around, but the day was golden and we laughed all the way.

The photos I’ve been seeing on FB are amazing. Looks like the color has come on fast, even some saying almost over night. Saw an amazing photo taken just the other day of the Owl’s Head look out. Wow! Get out there and enjoy, Hope the temps cool back.

Oh, I almost forgot the best pizza is at Lake Parker’s Country store in Glover. Didn’t notice if anyone had mentioned it yet. Went there this spring, yum!

Sooo many places! The Miss Lyndonville Diner, Lyndonville. Wayside Inn, Montpellier,The Blue Ben Diner in Bennington, Polly’s Pancake Parlor, Sugar Hill,NH, The Whip Bar & Grill, Stowe. The Whip is less expensive for lunch and calling ahead for reservations is wise. Last year we just called in an or...

Re: Maple Syrup

It’s all delicious! I got hooked our first visit and can eat nothing else. Use to bring it home on the plane but since I can’t do that anymore I have it shipped in gallon jugs about twice a year.( keeps nicely in the fridge.). I met Stephen and Diane Smith of Sugarhill Farms years ago at Danville on...

Triz, CoNgRaTuLaTiOnS!!!!! Here’s to daughters young & old! Thanks for sharing such a beautiful photo. It’s a beautiful spot in all four seasons. Hopefully we can both visit next year. The area has been experiencing some cool nights, makes the heart beat a little faster. P.S. I love my sons as well!

Re: Peacham Peak?

Exactly! Pretty hard to get all the trees to cooperate at the same time. I can’t say enough about being respectful after seeing a group of international visitors spread out on the lawn at Sleepy Hollow Farm having a picnic and photo shoot! With signs clearly posted “No Trespassing”. While others tri...
