I forgot to tell you about the big Bull Moose in Brownsville. I see him in the same spot all the time.

Re: Randolph and Stowe Hollow road - 10/10
Great shots! I was noticing today that the color is really popping in Bolton and Waterbury. Richmond is coming along great too!

Re: tomorrow Bennington to the NEK
Wow, that's a long drive.
I took I89 from Randolph to Richmond today, and the color in the hillsides from Randolph to Bolton was fantastic. Definitely approaching Peak. I know it's very nice through Northfield also.

Braintree this evening 10/9
After seeing all the nice color along Route 12 today, I decided to look around 12A from Randolph around sunset. Found a great view off of Thresher Road in Braintree. From Randolph, take Route 12A about five miles until you see Bent Hill Road on your right. You will see Braintree Elementary School fr...

Northfield Area 10/9
Took a quick detour off the interestate today to check out Route 12 from Northfield to Randolph. The color is great in the hillsides surrounding Northfield. Took a quick drive up Turkey Hill and it looks fantastic. Great views of the color in the hills to the West. If you didn't make it up there in ...

Re: Woodstock/Killington color report
I made a quick run through Woodstock about a week ago, and it didn't look like the color was going to be good. I ran over Cloudland Road, and almost all of the trees lining the road had that burnt/dead look, and half the leaves were gone. The distant hillsides did look OK, but haven't been back sinc...

Re: Views From Owls Head This Morning 10/8
The best light up on Owl's Head is around 7:30 - 7:45, which means walking up the road. The road is about one mile long, and the steepest part is probably the 1st Quarter mile. Then there is about another quarter mile hike at the end of the road to the top, which is also fairly steep. Not a bad walk...

Re: Some California "Color"
Very nice Andy! I especially love the evening Bridge shot. I'd make a nice 20x30 (or bigger) of that one and hang it where everyone can see it!

Views From Owls Head This Morning 10/8
Hiked up Owls Head in Groton State Forest this morning for sunrise with my trusty sidekick. It was a beautiful morning to be up there. The air was so crips and clear, and I love the smell of the Autumn woods! Still some nice color there, but I have a feeling it will be gone in a few days. Kettle Pon...

It was pretty bad around Ricker Pond. We were very discouraged when we drove by (didn't even stop). Glad we kept going though.

Re: Engagement Photo shoot locations?
My son just got married this Summer. His photographer did an engagement set down on the Burlington Waterfront around the boat house. They came out very nice. You may also want to check out Red Rocks Park, or Oakledge Park, both in Burlington/South Burlington. Shelburne Farms in Shelburne is also bea...

Groton State Forest 10/7
Had a little time to run into Groton State Forest towards sunset this evening. There is some leaf loss, but still very nice. It was absolutely still there this evening, which made for some killer reflections. These shots are from a couple of my favorite places in the forest, Marshfield Pond and Kett...

Re: Strafford, Tunbridge, route 14, 110, Chelsea, 302, Groto
I live in Tunbridge, and the last two years the trees just seemed to turn brown and loose their leaves early. Strafford sits up so high that they always get hammered by the wind. I drove Cloudland Road in the Woodstock/Pomfret area last week and the trees along the road were already missing half the...

Hit Crawford Notch this morning 10/7
I new the sun would be bright and harsh today, so I awoke at 4:00AM so I could get to Crawford Notch by Sunrise. Still some very nice color there, and had a couple of hours to get some shots before the sun got too harsh. Temp was 21 there this morning and I had forgot my gloves! http://richennis.com...
