Re: Northeast Kingdom Update 10/5

You are so welcome Ed and I’m thrilled to know that the book was a helpful resource for you and I know Andy will feel the same way. This is an exceptional photo of Jobs Pond. I was there Thursday morning for sunrise. It was foggy and windy with no refelections. I’m happy you hit it at just the right...

Re: NEK update from today

Hi Hex: thanks for the wonderful report. I do have a question. I’m not familiar with Canaan Hill Road. It sounds wonderful from your description. Why is it not for the faint of heart? Is it because of the condition of the road? Do you suggest only a high ground clearance vehicle or could a regular ...

Re: NEK Photos Sept 27 & 28, 2018

Thanks for posting these images Carol, they are very nice. You managed to hit a lot of locations in a short time, which gives everyone a good idea of how things are progressing. Re: Fall trip Planning and best bets

Hi bid, I hope you see this post. I was p in the NEK, and also passed through Franconia Notch NH the past couple of days. I can give you a much better answer to your question regarding Oct 9th-11th......Lake Willoughby or The White Mountains? In my opinion, I would suggest the White Mountains for th...

NEK Photos Sept 27 & 28, 2018

Here is a gallery of photos taken the past two days in the NEK. Minimal post processing done to these. No saturation has been applied. These are mostly record shots to show you the actual up to date colors and conditions. I added two photos from the Franconia Notch area of New Hampshire just to show...

Good morning Ed. First off, it was wonderful to meet you Tuesday night at my camera club. Your presentation was excellent. Also, it was so nice to talk “Vermont” with you. You are correct. Re: Fall trip Planning and best bets

Thanks Carol. I was under the impression that colors are behind by around 4/5 days this year. My friend was up in Mt Washington 2 days back and it was all green Which area peaks early - White Mountains/Mt Washington, NH or Green Mountains/Manchester,VT? - Give or take almost at the same time right?...

Re: Fall trip Planning and best bets

Thanks again. Given the current progress of the colors - do you guys think there would be peak colors in White Mountains/Mt Washington 9th thru 11th or is it a better idea to go to Lake Willoughby instead? If Lake Willoughby has better colors - apart from 5A what are the other roads / viewpoints I ...

Re: Northeast Kingdom Destinations

Thanks for the compliments on the eBook. It has been a true "labor of love." One small correction: That book is Andy and Carol's book (not Carol and Andy's book) :D  (just kidding, Carol). Yah Yah Andy. You and your sarcasm. I'm used to it by now :P   Carol
