Andy,
The 18-200mm VRII Lens does not have Tripod Detection Mode.
Tripod Detection Mode is found in the high-end lenses, 400, 500, 600 mm etc.

Hey PTW54,
Thanks for that up date. I guess I will head that way this Tuesday in the early am. Meet up on the 3rd for the SOV reunion. Then decide what to do thereafter. You save me a lot of guess work.
Thanks again and hope to see you soon.

2003 Slide Show Video

I was fumbling through some older foliage shots made back in 2003 and found this slide show video that I made. Made me think why not try and make a better quality one for 2009. Anyway turn your speaker volume up and take a peek. Click on this link http://GIC-Images.smugmug.com/gallery/9492932_yT8Qv#...

Corn Moon

I took some shots of Corn Moon tonight. There was an overcast which made for some interesting shots. Please visit my web site. Just click on the link below. Once there select Slide Show in upper right corner. I rarely take shots of the moon. I had fun doing it. Enjoy ! http://gic-images.smugmug.com...
