I'm still a bit fuzzy on how I get to Owl's Head. On googlemaps, it looks like Lanesboro Rd. would be the road to turn on off 232. Someone clear this up for me.

My wife, sister-in-law, and I are flying in on Thursday - with Friday, Saturday, and Sunday reserved for seeing the sights. From what everyone is saying, our timing is very good and the foliage is average to above-average.

I would say - don't panic. In Vermont, you're an hour's drive from most places in the state. And, even if the foliage is past peak, there are places that hang on with their beautiful foliage.
