I've been looking at this photo, and the Jimapco book. Based on the bend in the river, and the position of Ascutney, is this out River Road, maybe near High Pastures Rd? I've never been that far down River Rd, usually just turn up Cloudland.

AWESOME report, thank you!! Very sad about the Jenne farm field being fenced in, that's really going to change the views available. Looking forward to driving up Rte 106 (and wandering the back roads) on Friday.
