Low temperatures way above normal next 5 days, should slow the early progression a bit--looks like a perfectly normal timed Fall this year, whatever that means :-)

The Boston TV weather guy last night said it now looks like the next two weeks are forecast to be warmer than it has been so far in September, which would slow foliage down, and push us back to a normal instead of early peak. bsparks, in addition to what Carol said about Groton, you'll see Rt 232 just north of Route 302--Rt 232 is a beautiful drive,and halfway on the east side is Owl's Head--make sure you stop there,a quick 10 minute hike brings you a great view of Kettles Pond
