Re: Fall Foliage and Vermont Life Magazine
Hey Ken: As a former Vermont Life subscriber, I wonder, are you also a photographer?

Re: Fall Foliage and Vermont Life Magazine
Hi Ken: Thanks for your nostalgic post. I began my oddysey in photography right around the time of your first issue (a couple years later - 1976), and one of my inspirations was Vermont Life Magazine. My very first mentor (I believe he posts here about once every 100 years :-) ), John Knox, was a fr...

Re: 2019 Fall Photography
Hi Britches: For whatever reason (I guess because it was up and running for years before this forum was created), most fall foliage photos seem to be posted over on the Foliage Forum. But this is a great place to post, also, and it would be nice to see more activity here! Thanks

Re: Growth as a Photographer
Janice: I too enjoyed meeting you. That was the year I decided to come to VT at the last moment and, surprisingly, was able to get a nice room at the White Horse Inn in Waitsfield, where Carol and Al were both staying. I flew into Burlington and Al picked me up. We went to Carol's in Barton and trie...

Re: Witness Tree
Hi Al, Be sure you go to Robinson Hill Road while in Calais. It's in the ebook. Drive up to the top of the hill and then turn around. The scene will be behind you. There's also other beautiful views up there and a couple of gorgeous horses. I think I spent about an hour walking around and shooting ...

Thanks, Ed, for your kind work about the book. As you might imagine, it was a (many hours) "labor of love." Best regards, You are welcome Andy. Your book has been a valuable resource for me, and I have recommended it to a number of people. To me it is very much in the spirit of the old Kaplan book ...

Al: That route is a good one. There is a nice image that is in the book that Abby (Carol) found a couple years back on Cabot Plains Road.

Re: Growth as a Photographer
Thanks, Margy and Carol. I value our friendship much more than any photography - but it is what brought us all together. Carol, we are all still learning - I have always thought that when you stop learning, you are going backward.

Bogey 456: Please just be aware that those GPS coordinates are APPROXIMATE. I have already had it pointed out that there is at least one glaring error. We note that in the prefatory materials. I do not carry a GPS with me when shooting and none of my gear has the capability of recording coordinates....

Nice! Good development. Thanks, Ed for your work on this. For those who haven't been there recently, this same announcement was posted on the Photography Forum - same rules.

Re: PHOTOGRAPHING VERMONT'S FALL FOLIAGE eBOOK
I recently had an inquiry here about the availability of this book and wanted to confirm/remind that it is indeed available in Kindle, iBook and Nook formats (and a couple others) at their usual outlets.
