From_the_NEK ?? Central NEK drive

From_the_NEK, How is the color in your recommended Loop through the central Northeast Kingdom? I did this route once before and thoroughly enjoyed it! I am thinking about a day trip on Tuesday 10/2 and was wondering if the timing would be good. The weather looks good for Tuesday and I saw another po...

I will have 3 full days to photograph, Sat, Sun & Mon (Tues if necessary due to bad weather on Sat) Will it be too early to go south of I-89? Should I stay North? Re: In anticipation of the upcoming foliage season...

The windmills seem to fit into the landscape pretty well. Thank you Carol for sharing. Andy, I was reading your pdf when you posted the photo of the Grand View Farm. Your pdf along with Arnold Kaplan's little yellow book were INVALUABLE on my trip in '09 to Woodstock, Corinth, East Orange, East Tops...

Re: In anticipation of the upcoming foliage season...

Thank you all for the warm welcome back in 2011! Andy, I will keep an eye out for the NEK reports. The other area I had been considering, depending on how the colors develop and the weather, is Stowe. CT, thank you for mentioning Tim and all administrators as well. Aspen, I always hope to get a few ...

Thank you CT. I was hoping of course for the best color possible, but I really enjoyed the sightseeing and shooting experience. I started in Woodstock/Cloudland Rd then onto E. Corinth/E. Topsham/Waits and finished in Peacham. It was a very long day but well worth it. I went with the "Yellow book" a...

I was in Woodstock area and also E. Corinth/Waits River an then on to Peacham yesterday. Color was good but as mmvt mentioned many leaves have dropped. On my way to my first stop (Jenne Farm) I was wondering if I would see any leaves on the trees since I saw so many on the ground. Also the day was e...

Thank you lirwin13 and Carol. I was a little bit early for peak color but I had some free time and decided to take the ride to Lincoln. I shoot raw so I did a quick conversion and minor pp. I am hoping to catch good color later this week in the Woodstock area. I am planning a day trip so I can wait ...

Kancamagus

I made a quick day trip Friday and drove Rte302/Kancamagus. The color is very good. At the visitor's station they told me that the foliage was at peak about 90 miles north of the Kanc. Most of the time it was pretty cloudy. They got some snow on Mt Washington they night before. I am looking forward ...
