Re: Public Image Gallery on Foliage Vermont

Hi Andy: Sorry to be a bit slow getting back to you. If you would like to upload some of your pictures, choose the Contributors folder and try to keep your photos to less than 250k. The program will automatically produce thumbnails. Width is the important issue here. They should be 600 px or less. W...

Covered Bridges Foliage Route

Thanks to a posting last year by PWT, we now have an illustrated covered bridges foliage route on Foliage-Vermont. There's a map at the bottom of the page and a link to the seven bridges in an around Montgomery.

Re: Fall Foliage Festivals or Events?

One of the best sources of information is the Scenes of Vermont Events calendar. You can reach it here: http://www.scenesofvermont.com/sovcalendar/calendar.cfm Scenes of Vermont Calendar This calendar is a compilation of all the major events taking place in the state with a particular eye on tourism...

Public Image Gallery on Foliage Vermont

I've reactivated the Public Image Gallery on Foliage Vermont. As well as providing a slide show, the gallery allows you to send a postcard and to upload your own photos. Try to keep the kilobytes down to a reasonable size! The gallery is here: http://www.foliage-vermont.com/imgallery/gallery.asp Tim

Re: Trip with toddler in October

Hello Susan:
Seems to me that you are concentrating on the more northern part of central Vermont. I think you should be looking much further south if you intend to come in mid October. Keep checking. I am sure others will have some helpful suggestions!

Photographing the Arlington Covered Bridge

Just wondering how people get the perspective on this bridge after visiting the location (in the rain). How does one get that photo that looks as if it is taken on a hill above the bridge? The location actually has a steep, wooded hill where the photo would have to be taken to get the Norman Rockwel...
