Why do I recognize all of those places?

I thought you were a reformed "over-saturater" but I guess not; especially the blues.

Who can successfully predict fog on a pond? I think your best bets might be Noyes Pond on 302 at Seyon State Park near Groten and Ricker Pond just of 232, also near Groten. I don't think there are a lot of photographers who shoot the night sky. I'm not from Vermont so I'm limited in my ability to suggest places to shoot at night. Tim, most of the trail is rock but you are likely to find some mud along the way.

It is well worth the effort to go there even if you get into some mud, so long as you don't have fog.
