I've bought it in the store a few times and thought it tasted strange. I had no idea what to buy though. We use it on cornbread and sausage, in baking, etc. Probably lighter flavor. Was hoping to find a place with many different types to sample to know.

Reading my Explorer's Guide here and it says it's in Mt. Mansfield State Forest in Waterbury. Boasts about a settlement for 50 families who left behind cellar holes, stone fences, etc. Worth looking at? Leaves anywhere peak in this area? Says there are 7 trails - any one better than another?

I know there are so many in VT, but could you suggest some that would be in peak foliage/closest to it. We'll be there Mon-Sat. Mon-Wed in Stowe and Wed-Sat in Killington. Thank you
