Re: Witness Tree

Thanks CT- Do you think it might be around the cemetery by the fire station. That would be around the start of Macks Mountain rd.

Witness Tree

Hi, I just saw a photo of what was called the "Witness Tree" in Peacham. It appeared to be a lone Maple on the top of a hill. I'm wondering if any one here has ever heard of it and if so where it is located.

While in Woodstock, don't forget Jenne farm. It's about 10 miles outside Woodstock on rt 106. The turn off is about half way down the hill on the right. Probably the most photographed farm in NE. (Google it). When you leave Jenne farm go right on rt 106 for about 1/2 mile to the road on left. drive ...

Re: The Great Fall Get Together

Hi All,
Depending on the timing, I would like to join you at Noyes pond on the 3rd for the reunion. Do you know about what time you should be arriving. I will be in the area and would like to meet you all.

Thanks,Al

I'm going to pass, based rain they are predicting. I'm going to go up on Friday when the weather is supposed to be much nicer.
Have you guys given any thought to trying to get together the following Saturday (the 10th) a little further south. Just a thought.

Hi All I've been coming to Vermont for the last three years at foliage time and I've gotten a lot of good shots using Arnold Kaplan's book (he autographed it for me last year at Jenne farm) and David Middleton's book. I found the forum last year and after reading some of the post's, it sounds like y...

Foliage around Woodstock this Friday (10/10)

I spent last Friday and Saturday driving around northern Vermont ( 860 miles total) and now I'm thinking going around the Woodstock area on Friday. One of the things I would like to do is get some pictures of Jenne farm at sunrise and I'm wondering how the foliage will be. I live in southern NH so I...
