I've already been wondering where there are fields of wildflowers in the Spring/early summer and thought about posting inquiries! :)

Definitely Lightroom! Especially now that LR3 is out. The new noise reduction is supposed to be amazing, and the sharpening is quite good too. The adjustment brush feature gives you a lot of flexibility in making localized adjustments to your photos, easily. One big change from Elements (or PS) is t...

Andy, Thanks!! You must have put this up right as I posted. Your post confirms my decision to not go down to the SW corner. Were you around Rte 106 and Jenne or the Sugar shack today? Wondering what shape they're in. Go north, it's nice, and stay 116 and west. don't even bother going over to the oth...

We must have crossed paths today! We went up 116 to Bristol and wandered about Bristol and Starksboro for a bit, then went across the Lincoln gap and over to Warren for lunch. LOVED the food at the Warren general store. I was honestly underwhelmed with a lot of what we saw over in Waitsfield / North...

We were up there today, and it was AWESOME! Lots of reds and good leaf coverage.

We did try going across Lincoln Gap and over to Waitsfield, not much left over there, I would recommend staying 116 and west. :D

We saw something very similar coming in Rte 103 from Chester to Ludlow. Couldn't stop to shoot, 5yr-old needed to find a potty.

Your photos are GORGEOUS!

Thank you, looks like I can cross this area off the list for this trip, and focus on the Champlain valley, and South of Woodstock areas.

Thinking of hitting this area tomorrow, this sounds fantastic! Could I get a specific on "where" in Bristol the falls is? I'm not seeing it on the Jimapco.

Thanks! :)

Ludlow / Chester

We got in here shortly before dark, but it sure looks like all the trees on Okemo are mostly bare. BIL says about 2 weeks ago it was almost the best he's ever seen, and the storm really hammered them. The trees in the cemetery across the street are mostly dropped. Here's a shot from this weekend las...

Wonderful!!!! I figured I'd head north first, to catch it before it goes, then check the south. Those are many of the towns I've looked at, can't wait to see your report! :D
