I love the Peacham/Barnet area, with all the farms and barns in the foliage pictures. We've missed it for the last couple of years, either we go up too early or too late.
We are thinking of going there on Wed. Anyone know how it is?
Thanks.

Just back from NEK and Waitsfield
1. We went up to NEK on Sunday, it was foggy until 10am and 44 degrees, then the sky was total overcast, the sun peeked out a few times, there were spots of color, but a lot of the trees had lost all their leaves. 2. Peacham area at least had the leaves still on the trees but the colors were very du...

How is the color at Victory Bog?
A couple of years ago we saw fantastic color at Victory Bog, then it was either gone or green. Does anyone know how this color will be in that area this Sunday?

Thank you for the sites around Waitsfield, Lincoln gap etc. This is what I’m thinking we will do, go up to Peacham next Sunday, (if the color is great). I’m sure someone will be reporting from there soon. We’ve been there for years so I know most all the great foliage sites and all the dirt roads th...

Foliage is gone in northern VT
We drove 370 miles yesterday and the foliage was awful! We drove up to Danville, then around Peacham, just awful! Beautiful day, blue sky but no color.

We love the Danville, Peacham area! And have been going there for about 12 years. But so many years we go up and it's still green or it's gone by. Usually we go to Willoughy area first. Thinking of going to Peacham tomorrow, so wondered how it was this year. We went up to Pinkham notch in NH last Th...

Where in Shelburne, Ferrisburg?
Just read the report that foliage is still good up around Shelburne, Charlotte, Ferrisburg & Vergennes. So, I've printed out the map of that area.
Any place special in those areas? Like dirt road, views etc with foliage. Is there much snow on what mountains?

Re: What time to photograph snow geese?
Thanks for the map, I printed it out. Do you park near the refuge headquarters on 17? I guess you'll will just see the fence that they might be up close to?
I'll be shooting 300 digital.
