One Day Trip from Montreal - Help.

Tomorrow (Friday) from Montreal, I want to go to Moss Glen Falls in Granville, on route 100. 1- Can you suggest the best routes to take advantage of Fall Colors on the way and back? 2- Is there a good restaurant in or near Bristol, or somewhere on our way to I-89 where we could dine after doing the ...

Re: Where in Vermont is this fall?

Hi,

I'm very happy to be certain, and I've noted it on my topo map. I'm thinking of going back there next spring when there will be a stronger water flow.

I guess Vermont should also be pretty in the spring, when the green colors start coming out.

Thanks for your help.

Re: Where's the snow?

Charles,

Thanks for commenting.

1- Where are the haloes visible?

2- It's true I have a tendency to overdo the Highlight side of the Shadow/Highlight command, but could the haloes be caused by oversharpening?

This is a test. Here's a picture I took last fall in Vermont:

Re: Where's the snow?

Charles,

How do you include a picture to your posting like this?

I've only been able to include links to my external pictures on PBase, such as http://www.pbase.com/bellavance

Thanks.

Re: Where's the snow?

Charles,

Beautiful picture of first snow. First snow is always so nice.

It's later snow that's quickly not as nice... when it seems to want to last forever...

Re: Where in Vermont is this fall?

You were very lucky to see the comet.

Like I've said, I'll eventually be back to Canyon de Chelly, where I've seen the ruins at the bottom, but only from above. Next time, I won't be in a photo workshop, so I'll be able to go to the bottom.

Re: Where in Vermont is this fall?

Thanks, This Forum is very useful.

We've liked so much our trip to Arizona and Utah, that we're already planning a second trip... We'll also visit Mesa Verde this time, going back to Canyon de Chelly, Arches and Monument Valley.

Re: Where in Vermont is this fall?

Thank you very much. I'll print this info and mark this spot on my map, and make sure we go there next spring.

Thank you also for your comments about the pictures.

Re: Where in Vermont is this fall?

Thanks for your help. Does this other picture help locate it? This could be seen from the roadside.
